Cleveland House, Lower Ground Floor refurbishment project for Harwood International, London
The works included major alterations to the lower ground floor of the building to provide new contemporary Cat A office space.
Major structural alterations were made including the creation of a new mezzanine level within the basement. A kitchen area for the staff was created, including the installation of a feature living plant wall in the small external area linking the buildings.
Bespoke lighting install
As there were no windows into the lower ground floor of Cleveland House, specialist and innovative lighting effects were used to create the illusion that the space had natural daylight coming in.
Replica windows were created in keeping with the style and character of the building, and carefully backlit with LED lights. This was a bespoke feature of the project, and worked exceptionally well in this space to achieve a light, modern and contemporary look.
