Foley Street, London – refurbishment project for Great Portland Estates
The project involved installing large steel beams to the rear of the building to open up the space on all floors and the installation of two new lifts and shafts from basement to fourth floor.
We completely removed the existing roof covering and installed new joists to form a new roof void to give the sufficient depth to install new insulation to meet the new building regulations.
The works also involved the installation of new M&E services throughout including the formation of new WC cores on all levels. Furthermore, we installed new bespoke timber windows to basement, ground and first floors which created a light and airy reception area.
This was fitted out to a high standard with bespoke reception desk, entrance lobby and timber panelling, incorporating a glass bridge from the street for access to the building.
