Our Environment, Our responsibility

We are committed to ensuring that all of our activities are carried out in accordance with the relevant environmental legislation and comply with all additional standards to which the organisation subscribes.

In order to do this, we employ a dedicated in-house Compliance and Environmental Manager to ensure these standards are maintained, and that we strive for continual improvement and industry best practices.

We hold the following accreditations:

  • Environmental: BS EN ISO 14001:2015
  • Quality: BS EN ISO 9001:2015
  • Health & Safety: BS EN ISO 45001:2018

Our in-house Compliance and Environmental Manager is also a qualified BREEAM Assessor and acts as the group’s BREEAM focus-point; ensuring all environmental objectives on our projects are tracked and met. She is a Practitioner IEMA member and is the first point of call for all compliance and environmental matters, championing sustainability and offering proactive solutions to the project teams.

An essential feature of the Environmental Management System is a commitment to continually improving environmental performance. This is achieved by setting annual environmental improvement objectives and targets, which are regularly monitored and reviewed. The objectives and targets are publicised throughout the organisation and all stakeholders are committed to achieving their objectives.

We seek to minimise waste, promote recycling, reduce energy consumption, reduce harmful emissions on all of our projects and, where possible, work with suppliers who themselves have sound environmental policies.

The company also subscribes to the CCS Scheme (Considerate Constructors Scheme) on a site by site basis ‘aiming to improve the image of the construction industry by striving to promote and achieve best practices’.

Our quality management system is compliant with BS EN 14001:2015
