Broadgate Tower Refurbisment & Category B fit out for Itau BBA International Limited

Faithdean secured this project under the JCT Form of Management Contract. The works involved taking the existing 20th Floor of Broadgate Tower from a ‘shell & core’ state to a high quality Category B fit out for a large Brazilian Banking organisation.

Faithdean were appointed at a very early stage of the design period to advice on feasibility and to assist the client with budgetary constraints. We helped ensure the timely coordination of all design principles to ensure the clients critical occupation date was met.

Extensive joinery was designed and installed throughout. This consisted of veneered panelling and bespoke furniture with specialist glazed partitioning that was linked to the access control regime. A spacious Reception Area was installed, incorporating a breakout space with a ‘Touchdown Bar’ for visitors.

One half of the floor was used to create seven conference rooms and a tele-presence room for international video conferencing. The other half housed some trading positions along with general office space. We also created a futuristic breakout space for the staff use, with views across the 2012 Olympic Stadium.

Following the successful completion of this project, Faithdean were asked to carry out the refurbishment of the 19th floor of Broadgate Tower. This incorporated the formation of a new internal staircase to link the two floors together, and the fit out of office space to the same standard. This created the second interlinking internal staircase formed within the tower.
