The works comprise of the underpinning and lowering the floor within the basement, including drainage works, the removal of internal walls and reconfiguration of room layouts within the upper floors of the building. Structural works were carried out to the roof area, including the removal of water tanks and the installation of feature roof lights, in addition to external repairs to the fabric of the building. New mechanical and electrical services were installed throughout, together with a full redecoration and high-end fit out.
No 9 has been designed to the highest standard and crafted using the finest quality materials and detailing. Furnishings and fixtures include: Carrara Marble flooring, smoked oak chevron parquet flooring with a linear maple insert, bespoke chandeliers and a striking domino effect interior to the new four-person passenger lift that serves all floors. The newly refurbished building successfully combines period features with contemporary office space ready for modern-day use.
