A contemporary, high-standard Category B fit out
Faithdean were appointed as the main contractor for the Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) Lock Building refurbishment project. The works comprised of the strip out and refurbishment of both the internal and the external spaces of this unusual building.
The building was fit out to form high specification modern offices and was refurbished to include a mixture of open plan offices, together with private meeting rooms and acoustic pods.
High-specification finishes were used throughout, including copper detailing on the kitchen/tea-point areas, feature tiling, Amtico flooring, exposed high-level services and all new mechanical and electrical services.
The external works included the repair and renew of all the walkways surrounding the building, the refurbishment of the existing windows, painting and general redecorations. The improvements have helped to bring this quirky building up-to-date and have given this tired building a new lease of life ready for the incoming tenants.
