New amenity space together with the formation of a new roof top terrace
Lynton House is a 9 storey building, âTâ shape on plan. It is located on Tavistock Square, with office buildings on both sides and residential buildings to the rear.
The works comprised of the construction of a shower block to the rear of the building with direct access into the reception corridor together with plumbing, sanitary ware and electrics. Works also comprised the creation of a separate bicycle parking area consisting of a mesh cage with a solid roof, a storage area in the rear yard, the creation of a roof garden with lighting, seating and a bar area, together with a storage room and toilet area, the installation of an extension to the existing lift and the creation of an access ramp to the roof.
The building remained fully occupied throughout the duration of the works so careful required careful coordination in order to minimise disruption to the in situ tenants.
