THE EXTENSIVE REDEVELOPMENT AND REFURBISHMENT OF HENRIETTA HOUSE, LONDON W1

This impressive project involved the redevelopment and extension of Henrietta House, building into the existing courtyard to the rear of the building by constructing a new 8 storey extension and amalgamating the two to provide over 148,000 sq ft of office space to a high-quality Cat B standard including high specification joinery and finishes. Prioritising well-being, collaboration and mobility, the new and reimagined office accommodation included the provision of wellness suites, gym, multiple kitchens, presentation suites, meeting room facilities, servery and café area, new toilets, showers and changing room facilities and a new main entrance and reception.

The project required the use of a tower crane and hoists to deconstruct the existing rear façade and first 2 storeys of the front facade, construct a steel frame, new concrete floors, large curtain wall and cladding package, together with the complete fit-out of shell and core to provide high-quality Cat B accommodation with latest in technology and innovation. See how we did it below…

Sustainability was at the forefront of the new design with the scheme rated as BREEAM “Excellent” to one section (fit -out and refurbishment) and “Excellent” to the other (‘the cube’ new build).  The overall project was awarded the prestigious  WELL “Platinum” rating and is one of the first WELL Platinum Certified landlord & tenant joint developments in the UK and the UK’s largest WELL platinum fully fitted project.
