Faithdean secures the significant £3.7m refurbishment of Mocatta House at Trafalgar Place, Brighton.
Mocatta House is part of the flagship 55,000 sq ft Trafalgar Place development. The building will be extended vertically to provide an impressive new 6th floor office suite, complete with private roof terrace.
New design proposals include the enlargement of the reception area and replacement of entrance doors. Changes will also require the removal of the lift lobby walls on all floors to increase the overall net internal office area. A new amenity block will be formed in the basement to include commuter facilities. The extensive refurbishment will also include all new M&E and lift services throughout.
All works will be required to meet BREEAM ‘Excellent’ environmental and sustainability standards.
