Striving for a target rating of BREEAM “Excellent” the works will include the comprehensive refurbishment and extension of the building to create 75,000 sq ft (7,000 sq m) of prime Category-A office space, complete with the formation of a new rooftop pavilion and terrace overlooking Newgate Street. The newly refurbished building will also feature urban greening to encourage biodiversity and aims to offset some of the environmental impact of the development.
